Life is one big discount

When does a 50-plus discount become a 50-less premium? When 50% of your market qualifies for a discount why offer one?

In the next few years companies will need to reappraise their age discount policy. Right now it seems that the magic ‘50’ entitles you to a host of discounts in the UK and US.

This article provides a good summary of the discount world in the US. You can even buy a book called: "Unbelievably Good Deals and Great Adventures That You Absolutely Can't Get Unless You're Over 50." Amazingly, this is in its 17th edition.
