Could this be right?

This item in theregister tells of Fujitsu Siemens intention to launch a desktop package for the UK’s baby boomer generation in January 2007.

It (the article) is very amusing.

I am the biggest advocate of universal design and ensuring products are suitable for older people but I think it pushing things a bit far if Fujitsu thinks that somebody in their 50s needs especially large keys on their keyboard.

I wonder if the whole thing is not a hoax since I cannot find any mention of this launch on the Fujitsu web site. Unfortunately, it might just be right? Dick Stroud
